New Trailer for GRAND THEFT AUTO V Goes Inside the Game’s Massive Online World

     August 15, 2013

With Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar Games seems to be saying that we’ll never need another video game.  Last month, we saw how much gameplay the single-player experience offered.  Today, there’s a trailer for the online side, and all I can say is, “Holy.  Shit.”  I know that’s not very eloquent, but the online aspect goes far beyond what I imagined.  This isn’t just shootout deathmatches where someone who has way too much freetime will dominate every single game and proceed to sling racial and homophobic epithets your way.  GTA V will offer heists, races, and a ridiculous amount of customization.  Looking at this trailer, I can’t believe this is actually available on current-gen consoles.

well, there goes all my free time.

Never played much GTA, but this seems massively ambitious to the point of absurdity. Basically, its GTA….online. Nothing more is really being added. You can already do 90% of what the trailer showed, just with friends now.

I hope there’s a PC version coming, or I’ll just hope and pray for a sequel to “Sleeping Dogs”, a game I probably enjoyed more than any of the GTA games.

Given the online aspect of it, and the potential to make loads more money, I can’t believe they wouldn’t release on PC eventually.

This will suck up so much of my time.
