After being hospitalized five days ago for an accidental prescription drug overdose, stand-up comedian Greg Giraldo has died. The late comedian has been a staple for Comedy Central's celebrity roasts for years and most recently brought laughs to NBC's comedy competition series Last Comic Standing as one of the judges. Giraldo has also had countless comedy specials, talk show appearances and more. The world of comedy has lost a truly hilarious and gifted performer. While friends and colleagues like Dane Cook and Sarah Silverman have expressed their condolences through Twitter, comedian and Giraldo's good friend Jim Norton provided the most heartbreaking words: "This is the last photo of us together, taken June 28 at Noam's wedding. RIP buddy." In his memory, we've included a clip below of Giraldo ripping into Larry the Cable Guy on Comedy Central after the jump. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family.
