Over the weekend, The Playlist found out that the band Grizzly Bear would be providing some music for the upcoming Sundance film, Blue Valentine, which stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams.  Now the folks over at TwentyFourBit have done some more digging and have found out that it's safe to presume that the band will be scoring the film since their agents list the band as the film's composers.  As a fan of the band,  I'm now extremely curious to hear what they can do with a film score.

In other music related news, MySpace has released a clip/live performance of The White Stripes playing "Let's Shake Hands" from their upcoming documentary, Under Great White Northern Lights, that chronicles the band in some pretty gorgeous looking black and white photography as they toured Canada in 2007.  You can watch the clip along with a teaser trailer for the film after the jump.
