Have you had your fill of Guardians of the Galaxy-related items yet today?  Of course not.  While we’ve already shared a new poster, an on-set interview with Chris Pratt, a batch of new images, and director James Gunn’s thoughts on the film’s theme and Rocket Raccoon, one last Marvel item has arrived to close out the week.  Ahead of Monday’s new trailer debut, Gunn has shared two teasers of the footage that’s sure to hold fans over for the next few days.  While I’d normally be annoyed at such extensive marketing being done so far away from a film’s release date, Marvel looks to have gone all-out in embracing the property’s weirdness, and as a result they’ve got an uphill battle in trying to introduce Guardians to the general moviegoing audience.  The second teaser also lets us hear Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon. [Update: Marvel uploaded a third teaser.]

Hit the jump to watch the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer clips, and check back Monday at 10am PST to watch the full trailer.  The film also stars Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Benicio Del Toro, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Peter Serafinowicz, Michael Rooker, and Glenn CloseGuardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters on August 1st.

Here’s the official synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy:

From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team – the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits – Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand – with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.
