A new TV spot just dropped today to remind us of that fact. It features a thief (Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill, aka Star Lord), two thugs (Rocket Raccoon and the tree-like Groot, voiced by Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel respectively), an assassin (the lovely Zoe Saldana as the deadly Gamora), and a maniac (Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer).
Also starring Benicio Del Toro, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Peter Serafinowicz, Michael Rooker, and Glenn Close, the film opens in 3D on August 1st. Hit the jump to watch the new Guardians of the Galaxy TV spot.
