A new 60-second spot for James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy is now online, and it features just about everything you could ask for from the property. Plenty of action shots from Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Dave Bautista? Check. Bradley Cooper channeling his inner raccoon? Check. Vin Diesel voicing Groot with his one-and-only line? Check! There's also a good deal of new footage to go along with an unnamed evil (ie Thanos) who is threatening billions of innocent lives. If I don't see another frame of footage between now and opening day, I'd still be sold on this one.
If you missed yesterday's new TV spot, or Gunn talking about varying the aspect ratio's in the film's IMAX 3D cut, check them out now. Also starring Benicio Del Toro, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Peter Serafinowicz, Michael Rooker, and Glenn Close, the film opens in 3D on August 1st.
