First GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY TV Spot Goes Behind the Scenes with Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and Bradley Cooper

     April 16, 2014

The first Guardians of the Galaxy TV spot is now online!  When you own the network that airs a show that provides interconnecting tissue to your cinematic universe, you can get away with doing more than showing off a thirty-second teaser.  Enter Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which debuted a brief teaser during Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last night.  The quick TV spot at that space-based property gave us a nice behind-the-scenes look at the film, along with commentary from Kevin Feige, and stars Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, and Bradley Cooper.

You’ll have to wait until August 1st to view the movie in full, but for now, hit the jump to watch the first Guardians of the Galaxy TV spot.

Great way to showcase the involvement of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. Hope this brings the general movie going audience to theater. Now all I want is a full fledged trailer and some footage of Ronan.

This movie is going to be really f-in’ good! I’ve read the comic run from 2008, which a lot of the aesthetic of the movie is based on, and it’s funny and zany and very very cool. To all those not sure about this movie, give it a chance, you will not be disappointed!

I am trying to get my hands on a copy of the 2008 run! How does it compare to the current story lines?

      • RecoveR

I’ve read the whole 2008 run and the Thanos Imperative (essentially more Guardians of the Galaxy- with Thanos) And The 2008 run is amazing, like ItsNotaSchooner said it is funny and zanny and very very cool. If the movie is anything like the comics it’ll be something insanely special. It’ll be a Marvel movie that actually deserves its comedic moments as the source material is actually quite funny in places (unlike Iron Man, Thor and Cap). My most anticipated movie this year.

      • ItsNotaSchooner

I read it by getting it from the Marvel app on my iPad. Great way to get older comics, and they look amazing in the digital format.

    • Sweet Pea

Never read the comics. But this is my most anticipated of the year.

They’ve been showing the same footage for months. Need something new!

    • Sweet Pea

That’s what you go to the cinema for, kid…

  • bidi

i love Vin Diesel’s voice, but i can’t help but feel like it was wasted here. there had to be someone else in the MCU who he could voice who would say more than one word

    • Steven Ray Morris

      *cough Thanos mo-capped *cough
