Guillermo del Toro at Comic-Con; Details on Where He Will Be – Plus del Toro Says Big Announcement After Comic-Con

A few weeks ago, I interviewed Guillermo del Toro backstage at the Saturn Awards for about 20 minutes after the show.  If you missed the interview, you really need to watch it, as del Toro went into detail about every project he’s attached to and he also revealed he planned on announcing a big project at Comic-Con which he will be writing, producing and maybe directing.  Cut to today.  On deltorofilms,  GDT told them:

I am preparing some big and surprising news but they will come right after COMICON but I will be there Thursday, July 23rd and 24th

So if you were hoping to find out what the big mystery project is that del Toro is attached to…it’s going to be a bit longer.  But if you’re going to Comic-Con, del Toro is still going and after the jump I’ve got the info on where he’ll be and when.

11am – 12 noon
I will be at THE FALL Book signing at Harper Collins. These are ADVANCE COPIES, the book comes out in Spetember…

2:15 pm – 3:00 pm “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” panel in Hall H, we will debut the TEASER TRAILER and will have an exclusive COMICON poster designed by Troy Nixey and available in very limited quantities.

Saturday, July 24th:
2pm I will be at Gentle Giant signing PALE MAN and PAN busts.
