Universal has released the first Hail, Caesar! trailer. The story for the Coen Brothers‘ latest film follows a single day in the life of a studio fixer (Josh Brolin) who is presented with plenty of problems to fix. Going by this trailer, the one at the top of his list is the befuddled star (George Clooney) of their epic film getting kidnapped by an organization that calls itself “The Future”. The film looks like it has all the Coens signature comic touches, and there’s a particularly strong Big Lebowski vibe from the colorful visuals that play into the old Hollywood style. I thought I couldn’t be any more excited for this film than I already was, but this trailer proved me wrong. Next February can’t get here fast enough.
Check out the Hail, Caesar! trailer below along with seven images. The film opens February 5, 2016, and stars Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Alden Ehrenreich, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, and Channing Tatum.
