New images from Todd Phillips’ The Hangover Part II have gone online. Also, Justin Bartha explains how his character Doug will factor into the shenanigans this time around:
“Doug isn’t lost in this one. There are similar circumstances, but he’s a little bit more involved.”
Hit the jump to check out the images as well as Paul Giamatti providing minor details on his character. The film stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. The Hangover Part II opens May 26th.
Giamatti tells British GQ [again, via The Playlist who clearly up on their British print publications]:
“I don’t think I’m supposed to reveal it entirely, but I play a really unpleasant, creepy guy who terrorises them for a while. It’s like the first one, filled with all these odd little cameo parts.”
While the first Hangover was able to fly under the radar and really surprise audiences, I’m concerned about how many spoilers will leak out prior to the film’s release. Hopefully folks that see it in the months ahead will keep mum on the jokes.
Here’s the official synopsis for The Hangover Part II:
In the follow-up to the record-breaking hit comedy “The Hangover,” Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.
