Following up on the poster we saw earlier today, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Happy Feet Two. The new trailer reveals more about the story than the first, but still makes time for the snippets of the adorable penguin versions of “Mama Said Knock You Out” and “Sexy Back.” About that story: “Mumble (Elijah Wood) and Gloria (Pink) now have a son of their own, Erik (EG Daily), who is struggling to find his own particular talents in the Emperor Penguin world.”
Robin Williams, Sofia Vergara, Hank Azaria, and Brad Pitt also provide voices in the sequel directed by George Miller. Happy Feet 2 is slated for 3D release on November 18. Watch the trailer after the break.
Yahoo! has it in HD.
Official synopsis:
The sequel to the Academy Award®-winning animated smash hit, “Happy Feet 2″ returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica, reuniting us with the world’s most famous tap-dancing penguin, Mumble (Elijah Wood), the love of his life, Gloria (Alecia Moore {Pink}) and their old friends Ramon and Lovelace (Robin Williams). Mumble and Gloria now have a son of their own, Erik (EG Daily), who is struggling to find his own particular talents in the Emperor Penguin world. But new dangers are threatening the penguin nation, and it’s going to take everyone working–and dancing–together to save them.

That just might be the worst put together trailer I’ve ever seen.

Good for the kids but come on, is there needed for Happy Feet 2?
It is just like making Toy Story 4 when Toy Story 3 was a great ending to a huge classic trilogy, there is no needed for a sequel.
Happy Feet was horrible. There was no need to revisit this film. Awful. Simply awful.
+1.
stupid idea.
Happy Feet was great, no doubt haters are Pixar cultists.
That trailer was terrible though.
