Part of me feels like I’m one of the few people looking forward to another Harold & Kumar movie, but I don’t care.  The Harold & Kumar movies are delightfully madcap, feature a nice mix of gross-out humor and absurdity, and it looks like they’ve gone all out with A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas.  Director Todd Strauss-Schulson seems to have acknowledged that 3D is a mostly-gimmicky technology and used it to augment the shenanigans of his lead characters.

New Line has released twenty-five new images along with four new set photos and I continue to remain jazzed to see the movie.  Hit the jump to check out the images.  A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas opens November 4th.

Here’s the official synopsis for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas:

The new “Harold and Kumar” comedy picks up six years after the duo’s last adventure. After years of growing apart, Harold Lee (John Cho) and Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents–and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree–going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree almost blows Christmas Eve sky high.

  1. A friend saw it and reported lots of…well… clay animated nudity and at least one clay c*mshot right at the camera. And gay singing from NPH. Should we be scared??
