Harrison Ford is set to join Lionsgate's The Age of Adaline, a romantic drama penned by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz, with revisions by Allison Burnett.  Directed by Lee Toland Krieger (The Vicious Kind), the story follows "the miraculous life of 29-year old Adaline, who stops aging after recovering from a near-fatal accident.  Over the course of the 20th century she embarks on an epic, but isolated worldwide journey, keeping her secret, until she meets a man who forever alters her life."  Ford will play the role of William in The Age of Adaline, which also stars Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) and Ellen Burstyn (Requiem for a Dream).  Principal photography is set to begin in March. HARRISON FORD JOINS THE AGE OF ADALINE

Ford Joins Blake Lively and Ellen Burstyn in Romantic Drama for Lionsgate, Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment

SANTA MONICA and LOS ANGELES, CA (January 15, 2014) – Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), Sidney Kimmel Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment have cast Harrison Ford in the upcoming romantic drama THE AGE OF ADALINE.  Ford joins previously announced stars Blake Lively and Academy Award®-winner Ellen Burstyn.  Principal photography will begin in March with Lionsgate set to release the film in the US.

The original screenplay was written by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz, with revisions by Allison Burnett, and will be directed by Lee Toland Krieger.  THE AGE OF ADALINE will be produced by Sidney Kimmel, Tom Rosenberg, and Gary Lucchesi.  Jim Tauber and Eric Reid will executive produce.
