New footage from the final chapter in the Harry Potter franchise has been unveiled in a behind the scenes clip for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. If you loved the last movie as much as I did, this featurette is only going to get you even more excited for the final chapter. I just can’t believe it’s all going to be over in July. Saying that, the footage that WB included in the clip looks awesome and I’ve heard the final chapter features some of the biggest action set pieces of the series. I’m so thankful that the last chapter might be the best.
Hit the jump to check out the clip, as well as a new image from the film. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Gary Oldman, Ralph Fiennes, and many others. The film hits 2D & 3D theaters on July 15th.

At about 1:07, Emma says “your heart’s gonna race.” My heart was already racing by the time I heard that! July cannot come quick enough.
I am a 26-year-old heterosexual male.
I am exceedingly excited for this movie.
I am not ashamed.
Oh, YEAH, Elitist Prick? Well, I’m a 38-year-old heterosexual male, and I’m even MORE excited and LESS ashamed than you are! So there!
me too.
I am not ashamed
The first footage from Part II? Did everyone miss the first trailer that was released last summer? It included footage from both Part I AND Part II, the “dragon”, the Harry vs. Voldemort-fight etc. etc. etc.

this David Yates is a very bad director. HP and the Half-blood Price was awful. The first part of Deathly Hallows was so-so. I hope that the final will be this great final the Harry Potter saga deserves.
John Williams! Where art thou?
Its kind of amazing that after seven movies I’m still just as excited or more for this one. Every movie in the series is exceptional! The last three especially. David Yates has found the perfect balance of reality and magic!
I look forward to this. But before I see this in the cinema, I will have a Harry Potter marathon!
No faster way to kill a theater experience, I’ll probably watch part I again the night before or something.
No really, I’ll watch all the movies back-to-back before I go to the cinema and watch the last one.
A week before that I’ll read the seven Harry Potter books. One book per day.
