Per THR, Kristen Wiig has joined the cast of Relativity’s untitled armored car comedy.  Formerly known as Loomis Fargo, the film is based on the true story of four dim-witted Southerners who pulled off one of the biggest heists in American history by robbing a Loomis Fargo truck and making away with nearly $20 million.  Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess takes the helm with a script by Emily Spivey (Saturday Night Live), and Zach Galifianakis and Owen Wilson are already onboard to star.  Wiig will play the workplace crush of Galifianakis’ character, an unhappy armored car driver.  She uses his affection to rope him into the robbery scheme.  Filming begins this July in North Carolina.

Additionally, eOne has announced that Helen Mirren and Aaron Paul have joined the cast of director Gavin Hood’s (Ender’s Game) upcoming international thriller Eye in the Sky.  The story revolves around a London-based military intelligence officer who is remotely commanding a top secret drone operation with the aim of capturing a group of terrorists in Nairobi.  When she realizes the terrorists are on a suicide mission, she must alter her plans.  Meanwhile, an American drone pilot is tasked with destroying the safe house, only to run into trouble when a nine-year-old girl enters the kill zone.  Mirren will play the military intelligence officer in command of the drone operation, while Paul will take on the role of the drone pilot.  Colin Firth also stars.  Filming begins in South Africa on September 12th ahead of an August 14, 2015 release.

Fresh off the smashing success of Neighbors, Heat Vision reports that Sony is developing an adaptation of the upcoming Shane Kuhn novel The Intern’s Handbook: A Thriller as a star vehicle for Dave Franco.  The story takes place in the world of assassins, as the company HR, Inc. works as an intern placement agency that is actually a front for a network of trained killers whose targets are high-profile corporate executives.  Franco will lead the film as a star intern who is secretly gathering intelligence for a hit while working at a Manhattan law firm.

Finally, Vulture reports that X-Men: Days of Future Past star Nicholas Hoult and the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke, will team up to play the legendary duo Bonnie and Clyde.  Michael Sucsy (The Vow) will direct the adaptation of the Jeff Guinn book Go Down Together, though further details are unknown at this time.
