Here’s What’s Leaving Netflix in September

It’s that time of the month again, if just a bit later than usual. Netflix has released its list of movies and TV series that will be leaving the streaming service throughout the month of September. Per usual, most of this stuff is mediocre pablum that no one really needed to see in the first place, but there are a few on here that are worth checking out ASAP. Tomorrow will see a few major works disappearing, including Quentin Tarantino‘s sublime Jackie Brown and Paul Verhoeven‘s ingenious Total Recall, adapted from a prime slice of dystopian sci-fi from Philip K. Dick; School of Rock, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels are also worth your time.   With the notable exceptions of High Fidelity, Coriolanus, and Judd Apatow‘s college-comedy series Undeclared, the rest of the month doesn’t do away with anything worthwhile until September 30th. At the end of the month, however, three masterworks are getting dashed-off, including Alexander Payne‘s gorgeous NebraskaFrancis Ford Coppola‘s classic Apocalypse Now, and Martin Scorsese‘s ferocious dark comedy The Wolf of Wall Street. Best get to watching!
