Hero Complex Gallery in LA opens its new show, BLEEDING METALLICS, this Friday night.  There will be art printed with metallic inks, printed on metal, crafted out of metal, using metallic paints and papers...and while this is quickly turning into a Bubba Gump routine, you get it...lots of metal.  Check out more info on the show, 14 preview images, and a surprise for the first 50 customers after the jump.

Bleeding Metallics isn’t just about the medium being metallic, it is also about the subject matter.  Whether it’s Wolverine’s adamantium skeleton, the T-1000 or giant mechs, you can be sure there is going to be a wide variety of pop culture metallic coverage in this show.  There is even a freakin SUBURBAN COMMANDO print! And for those who missed out on Craig Drake's Akira-inspired piece, 'Kaneda!' on metal, Hero Complex Gallery will be giving the first 50 customers a free mini-print of his piece printed on silver aluminum metallic paper.

Opening Reception is Friday, August 2nd, 7-10pm at Hero Complex Gallery, 2020 South Robertson Blvd., Studio D, Los Angeles, CA 90034.  Be sure to check out their website and follow them on Twitter for all their latest news and when things that don’t sell out at the show will be sold online.  Check out these 14 preview images and let us know what you are excited for in the comments below.
