The sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger came with some questions, as two brothers heralding from television comedy had taken the directing reins, with rumors stating the movie was going to more in line with a 1970s political thriller. Our doubt was summarily squashed upon the release of this towering titanic-tour de force called Captain America: The Winter Soldier! This was based loosely on the recent comic book series written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by many of the greats including Steve Epting, Butch Guice, Michael Lark and many others. The script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely was a taut, tight, action thriller, throwing Captain America into politics he never made; revealing a secret evil working right under his nose the whole time. Hail Hydra… not if you are Steve Rogers! With the introduction of the scary assassin called The Winter Soldier, we watch Cap, Black Widow, Nick Fury and a new hero called The Falcon do everything they can to survive! Arnim Zola! The panel discuss their love for Cap’s second outing in Winter Soldier!

These secret superheroes going by the names of Dynamo, NoMan and Menthor, got their powers by super science technology, as they do battle with subterranean aliens who want to take over the world in a secret battle that has been going on for decades. Tis series created by artist Wally Wood and writer Len Brown ran for five years (1965-1969), and then had various troubled reboots and many fun lawsuits which shut this property down. Can this property work today as a movie or series?
