Arriving this October is “He’s Just Not That Into You,” a movieabout thechallenges of reading (or misreading) human behavior. While you might normally dismiss the film based on the synopsis, with the cast involved…it’s kind of hard to not be curious. If you don’t know, the film features Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Justin Long, and Ginnifer Goodwin. As I said, the cast gives me hope.
Since I never read the book, according to the always accurate Wikipedia:

The book was inspired by an episode of Sex and the City titled "Pick-A-Little, Talk-A-Little," in which Miranda asks Carrie's boyfriend, Berger, to analyze the post-date behavior of a potential love interest. Because the man declined Miranda's invitation to come up to her apartment after the date, stating that he has an early meeting, Berger concludes that "he's just not that into you," adding that "when a guy's really into you, he's coming upstairs, meeting or no meeting."

Finally, while I’m a fan of director Ken Kwapis’ work on TV as he’s directed episodes of "The Office," "Freaks and Geeks" and "The Larry Sanders Show," he also directed "License to Wed"…and we all know how that turned out. Let's all hope this is a return to form.

With a huge cast and the fact that it’s based on a popular book, I’d like to think this could be good. Here’s the trailer. Click here for HD.
