Summit Entertainment has just announced The Twilight Saga: New Moon will be arriving on home video March 20, 2010. The release will feature a six part behind the scenes documentary, music videos, and an audio commentary by director Chris Weitz and editor Peter Lambert.
What’s interesting about this announcement is back when the movie was getting ready to come out, director Chris Weitz told me he was going to include ten minutes of deleted scenes on the DVD/Blu-ray. If I was a betting man, I would wager Summit decided to hold the deleted scenes either for an eventual theatrical re-release, or for the ultimate box set that will be released after all the films have been made. After all, you need to offer the fans something they don’t already have and deleted scenes are a perfect way of doing that. SYNOPSIS
