In the lead-up to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, I imagine Warner Bros. will continue to unveil Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch) piece by piece until sometime in November half of your local multiplex’s lobby will be covered in dragon segments. In this promo poster, Bilbo (Martin Freeman) defeats the entire purpose of sneaking into Smaug’s den by having the dragon look directly at him. There’s also a promo image of the dwarves going down the rapids in some barrels, which should make for an exciting action scene/theme-park ride.
