Showtime has released a debut teaser trailer for the upcoming third season of the Emmy-dominating drama series Homeland. While the trailer doesn’t show any footage, we do hear some audio clips from the upcoming season, confirming that Damian Lewis’ Brody will indeed be a major part of season three. Despite a few missteps, I found season two to be wholly satisfying, and I really can’t wait to see where the show goes this year—and to have crazy Claire Danes back on my TV. Homeland is a series that isn’t afraid of taking narrative risks, and while some work better than others, it makes for consistently compelling television.
Hit the jump to watch the teaser trailer. Season three of Homeland premieres on Showtime September 29th.
