Showtime has released yet another new Homeland Season 4 trailer, making it at least the third look at the upcoming season after a “first look” trailer and a teaser trailer.  This time we get a bigger chunk of footage though, and it definitely looks more “broad” than in seasons past (or maybe that’s just the inane profanity bleeps peppered throughout the trailer).  I know I was growing tired of the Brody stuff, but now I wonder if I’m growing tired of the show’s histrionics in general?

Hit the jump to check out the new Homeland Season 4 trailer.  The show stars Claire Danes, Corey Stoll, Mandy Patinkin, Rupert Friend and Suraj SharmaHomeland returns to Showtime with a two-hour season premiere on October 5th.

Is it just me or does all of the bleeped cursing feel about 20 years behind the curve?  It looks like they're trying to sell the "adultness" of the show, "tune in if you want to hear the actual awesome dialogue!"  Other than that it looks basically like Homeland treading water.  Trailer via Showtime:
