I doubt anyone was dying for a Hot Tub Time Machine sequel, but based on the promo material released thus far, it actually looks like the concept is well worth another go around.  Lou (Rob Corddry), Nick (Craig Robinson) and Jacob (Clark Duke) are living large after going back in time and claiming future ideas as their own.  Now they’re eager to take another dip, but instead of going back in time, the hot tub time machine takes them to 2025 where they meet Adam’s (John Cusack) son, Adam Jr. (Adam Scott).

Paramount just released a new “red band clip” from the film, which is more of a short Hot Tub Time Machine 2 red band trailer, and it’s packed with super vulgar antics that actually make me think the sequel could be far better than the original.  Check that out as well as a brand new poster for the film below.  Hot Tub Time Machine 2 is due to hit theaters on February 20th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Hot Tub Time Machine 2:

When Lou (Rob Corddry) finds himself in trouble, Nick (Craig Robinson) and Jacob (Clark Duke) fire up the hot tub time machine in an attempt to get back to the past. But they inadvertently land in the future with Adam Jr. (Adam Scott). Now they have to alter the future in order to save the past… which is really the present, in the sequel from the same team that brought you the original cult hit.
