Before she takes on the Tributes at the Quarter Quell in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Jennifer Lawrence can be seen in the horror thriller House at the End of the Street this fall. We have new images of Lawrence (in that same old white tank top) and the rest of the cast for you to check out after the jump.
From director Mark Tonderai (Hush), House at the End of the Street centers on a mother (Elisabeth Shue) and her daughter (Lawrence) who move into a new home next door to a good old fashioned murder house. When the daughter befriends the surviving boy-next-door (Max Thieriot), she finds there is more of his story left to be told. House at the End of the Street opens September 21st. Here’s the official synopsis and poster for House at the End of the Street:
Seeking a fresh start, newly divorced Sarah (Oscar®-nominee Elisabeth Shue; Leaving Las Vegas, Piranha 3D) and her daughter Elissa (Oscar®-nominee Jennifer Lawrence; The Hunger Games, X-Men: First Class) find the house of their dreams in a small, upscale, rural town. But when startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, Sarah and Elissa learn the town is in the shadows of a chilling secret. Years earlier, in the house next door, a daughter killed her parents in their beds, and disappeared – leaving only a brother, Ryan (Max Thieriot, My Soul to Take), as the sole survivor. Against Sarah’s wishes, Elissa begins a relationship with the reclusive Ryan – and the closer they get, the deeper they’re all pulled into a mystery more dangerous than they ever imagined.
