In the indie thriller House of Bodies, a police detective, a Death Row inmate, a deaf child and a telephone relay operator are brought together via the mysterious events surrounding a grisly string of copycat murders. The common link between each of them is the House of Bodies, a voyeuristic website based in a serial killer's home. House of Bodies, which just started production through Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere's Flavor Unit Studios, will star Latifah, Terrence Howard and Peter Fonda. Latifah and Compere are also executive producing the picture along with Otis Best, Yaneley Arty and Shelby Stone. Hit the jump for more on House of Bodies.

Variety reports that Latifah will star as Nicole, a relay operator who works for a hearing-impaired telephone service. Kyle, a deaf-child who uses the service to chat with Nicole, happens to have a fascination with the macabre that leads him to the House of Bodies. The voyeur website is run out of the former home of Henry Lee Bishop (Fonda), a convicted serial killer serving out his time on Death Row. When Kyle befriends Kelli, a new performer at the House of Bodies, he becomes her only chance for survival as the copycat killer strikes too close to home. Howard plays a police detective who races against the clock to flush out the person behind the killings.

Latifah recently starred in Joyful Noise opposite Dolly Parton. Howard was previously seen in Red Tails and can next be seen in the Walter Salles' adaptation, On the Road. Fonda next stars opposite Claire Danes, Thomas Mann and James Marsden in As Cool as I Am.
