One of the most anticipated films of 2014 doesn’t involve superheroes or giant robots, but instead is an animated film focusing on (mostly) friendly dragons.  DreamWorks Animation will finally release the long-awaited sequel to 2010’s excellent How to Train Your Dragon this summer, and now a batch of new images from How to Train Your Dragon 2 has been released online.  The story picks up five years after the first installment, and has Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and Toothless exploring new territories while the rest of his friends are enjoying dragon races.  During one of Hiccup and Toothless’ journeys, they discover a secret ice cave, hundreds of new wild dragons, and the mysterious Dragon Rider.  These new images highlight the older versions of the characters from the first film, as well as a peek at the aforementioned Dragon Rider.
