Lionsgate has released a new featurette for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The story finds President Snow (Donald Sutherland) trying to crush a budding rebellion that was ignited by Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) actions in the previous film, as the 75th Hunger Games (aka Quarter Quell) finds past victors competing against each other. The featurette highlights how director Francis Lawrence will be using IMAX in the film, and it’s impressive. The movie will go to IMAX as Katniss goes into the new arena, and I’m interested to see how Lawerence will utilize it at other points in the story.

Hit the jump to check out the featurette along with four Entertainment Weekly covers. The film also stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stanley Tucci, Jeffrey Wright, and Amanda Plummer. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opens November 22nd.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire:

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
