Just in time for Thanksgiving, a teaser motion poster for the upcoming sequel The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has been released online.  The motion poster was actually attached to screenings of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 in the form of a teaser trailer, so it served to ensure Twihards that even though their brooding vampire series is over, there’s more teen goodness on the way.  The poster also reveals what looks to be the film’s tagline, “Every Revolution Begins with a Spark.” Francis Lawrence takes over directing duties from Gary Ross this time around (he’ll also be directing the two-part finale, Mockingjay) and core cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth are joined by newcomers Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone, Sam Claflin, Jeffrey Wright, and Amanda Plummer.

Here’s the synopsis for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire:

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

  1. Catching Fire is my least favorite book of the trilogy, but I do still like it and I think it has great cinematic potential. And I’m curious about Arndt as the screenwriter. I’m not sure of Lawrence as a director yet though. The only film of his I’ve seen is I Am Legend and I thought it was terrible.

  2. Oi, antes de mais gostava de dar os parabens pelo bom trabalho que estao a fazer neste site. Como espectador desta novela estarei de volta para ler os vossos artigos que estao espetaculares.
