The second installment in The Hunger Games franchise finally hits theaters this November, and we here at Collider are happy to give away two tickets to the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to a very lucky reader.  The ticket giveaway is part of a 12-week countdown initiative for the release of Catching Fire, called #TickTock.  Our giveaway today is part of #TickTock11, and we are one of 75 sites (75 being the anniversary year for the Quarter Quell) that will be giving away tickets to the premiere, which will take place in Los Angeles on November 18th.

Hit the jump to find out how you can win a pair of tickets to attend.  The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will open in traditional and IMAX theaters on November 22nd.  Tickets to opening night showings will be on sale October 1st.

the-hunger-games-catching-fire-posterSince there will most likely be quite a few entries for this contest, we want to make sure that the tickets go to a true fan of the series. In order to enter the contest, we want you to tell us what district of Panem you think you would represent and why.  There’s no minimum or maximum requirement for how long your entry should be, so feel free to write as much (or as little) as you’d like.  You also must have “liked” Collider on Facebook.

Please send your entry to thecollidermailbox@gmail.com with THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Premiere in the subject line, and be sure to include your full name and a phone number where we may reach you in the body of your submission.  Also, only one entry per person.

Entries will be accepted no later than September 23rd at 5pm PST.  The winner will be contacted soon after, once we’ve had a chance to look over the submissions.  We will announce the winner on Collider on September 30th at 10:00am PST.

Finally, just to be clear, this contest is open to everyone!  You can live in Los Angeles, London, Madrid, even Moscow.  Everyone is welcome to enter.  However, you are responsible for all costs to attend the premiere.  We’re just providing two tickets to the event (for you and a guest). That’s why we’re ending the contest on September 25th.  It’ll give whoever wins a chance to make travel plans and not pay a fortune.  Please keep in mind that you must pick up your tickets at Will Call, you can’t receive them earlier.
