The dress code in The Hunger Games was casual, although comfortable clothing was recommended. New images have surfaced from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and now the tributes have some skin-tight swimwear. The suits probably serve the dual purpose of not only being costumes, but also to prevent the actors from getting hypothermia. The new images not only show off Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), but new tributes Mags (Lynn Cohen) and Finnick (Sam Claflin).

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

Looks fantastic. Lets hope Francis Lawrence can make a movie that’s just as good as the first. Though Catching Fire was my least favorite of the books.

Peeta’s hair looks very dark in these pics, I guess it’s the wetness.
Maybe I’m alone on this, but Catching Fire was my favorite of the books. I LOVED the games part in this one. So different and creative. I hope that translates on screen.
Now i’m assuming at this point most people that are fans of the hunger games movies have read the books. I have as well but if you didnt wouldn’t these pictures be considered a little spoilerish?
I haven’t read the books yet, and the pictures didn’t reveal any plot point to me. What’s in there that we haven’t seen before? That Katniss would be firing an arrow using her bow? Maybe it’s spoiler that there’s a beach and some short guy will be trying to survive an attack from other semi-anonymous adversaries by diving into said beach?
What happened to their hair!? Katniss now has black hair and Peeta brown are you kidding me. What happened to the hair colorist didn’t get the color right or mixed the bottles!? It’s not the water cuz I’ve seen other promo pics and they look dark. Can’t even tell the difference between Peeta and Finnick. They look the same I get them confused. They need to make sure and get the small details right! Next time I watch Hunger Games and Catching Fire they are gonna have a completely different look and it wont even look like they come from the same series. Get it right Hollywood Geez! All the actors look more done /dolled up. Wish they would of kept the original low key look of the film more down to earth and not glammed up. They did the same thing to Twilight too. I feel it takes away the feeling of realism and turns it into blockbuster. But hey it’s Hollywood!
