Steve and Matt are currently making their way through this year’s Sundance Film Festival, bringing us reviews and exclusive interviews from the indie mecca. While those of us not enjoying the snow-covered streets of Park City are forced to watch from the sidelines, today we’re able to get a peek into the fest by way of a teaser trailer for one of the featured films. Written and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, I Am Not a Hipster tells a character-driven story set in the indie music and art scene. Dominic Bogart stars as a San Diego musician struggling to deal with himself and his family.

The pic has been drawing comparisons to the 2006 film Once, and this dialogue-free trailer gives us a taste of the music featured in the film. While the teaser isn’t really enough to base an opinion on, I like the feel of the pic and I’m intrigued to see more. The title is definitely eye-catching. Hit the jump to check out the trailer.
