Walt Disney/DreamWorks have released a new poster for director D.J. Caruso’s I Am Number Four which stars Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, and Callan McAuliffe. The plot centers on nine aliens who escaped the destruction of their planet and landed on Earth, but are now on the run from those who destroyed their home world. Alex Pettyfer plays number four and he’s the next one being targeted for death. Here’s a link to all our previous coverage which includes a set visit, on set interviews, and a lot more info on the movie.
Anyway, with a February 18, 2011 release date fast approaching, Disney and DreamWorks are about to start really promoting the film. On December 10 they’re releasing a new trailer, and I’d imagine this isn’t the only poster that’s getting released. I know a decent amount about this movie and think it’s going to be a fun ride. Hit the jump to check out the new poster and make sure to come back on December 10 for new interviews with the cast and the new trailer.

Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Timothy Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events—his first love (Dianna Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.
