Though the film was initially set for release this past February, we have yet to see an official image from writer/director Stuart Beattie’s graphic novel adaptation I, Frankenstein. That changes today, though, as our first good look at Aaron Eckhart as the titular monster has landed online, showing a rather buff take on the creation. The story finds Eckhart’s character living in the present day, as he is being hunted by demons that want to learn the secret of his creation. We really don’t know much about the film at all, but I expect we’ll see the first trailer drop next weekend during the film’s Comic-Con panel.
Hit the jump to take a look at the image. The film also stars Yvonne Strahovski, Bill Nighy, Socratis Otto, Miranda Otto, and Jai Courtney. I, Frankenstein opens in 3D on January 24th.
