"Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy" is a film that gets better every time I see it.  It's so quotable ("Milk was a bad choice" and "I immediately regret this decision!" are the ones I use most often) and having Ferrell, Rudd, Koechner, and Carell together was like catching magic in a bottle (Oh, I also use "I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany,").  Director Adam McKay has provided a new update on the status of "Anchorman 2".  Hit the jump to be polite and rarely late.

Okay, I'm gonna stop with the "Anchorman" quotes because MTV Movie News did their best to try and ruin the movie for me with their article which tried to use at least one quote in every fucking paragraph.  But they're now reporting that co-writer and director Adam McKay says it will be at least two years before we see the film (which is something we reported on back in May but the only difference is now he says they're definitely doing it).  I predict it could be even longer.  McKay and Ferrell are working on "The Other Man" with Mark Wahlberg, and co-stars Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, and David Koechner all have full schedules as well.  I'm happy that they all Channel 4 news team wants to return (and I would love to see Christina Applegate return as well) plus I really like the idea of setting it in the 80s since they did such a great job of dressing the film in 70s clothing but never drawing attention to the decade.

Now I have to go and watch the original because I'm in a glass case of emotion (sorry, I couldn't help myself).
