YA adaptations are all the rage at the moment, especially with the buzzworthy The Fault in Our Stars opening this weekend, and Warner Bros. is getting in on the fun by releasing an If I Stay prologue trailer for director R.J. Cutler’s adaptation of the Gayle Forman novel.  The film stars Chloe Grace Moretz as a young girl facing a tough decision between pursuing her musical dreams at Julliard or staying close to home with the love of her life (Jamie Blackley).  Circumstances are further complicated when a life-changing accident throws her life off completely off balance.  This “prologue” is essentially a new trailer with M83 adding a fair amount of emotional oomph to the proceedings.  Moretz is a talented actress and the premise gives her a lot to work with, so I’m interested to see how this one shapes up.
