Warner Bros. Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures and New Line Cinema have released the first If I Stay trailer for director R.J. Cutler’s (Nashville) drama.  Based on the Gayle Forman novel of the same name, the film stars Chloe Grace Moretz as a young girl facing a tough decision between pursuing her musical dreams at Julliard or staying close to home with the love of her life (Jamie Blackley).  Circumstances are further complicated when a life-changing accident throws her life off completely off balance.  I'm not familiar with the novel, but it's easy to see why the story's central relationship is so beloved among readers, and this trailer suggests that the filmmakers have obviously taken great pains to bring that bond to the screen in as honest a way as possible.
