Set images from the Detroit shoot of Transformers 3 have landed online. After the tragic accident that took place on the film’s set in Chicago earlier this month, it’s nice to be able to report some welcomed news from the project. That welcomed news comes in the form of a “rocket car” which can be seen in one of the four available images. I wonder what type of gas mileage something like that gets? Regardless, I bet it has a built-in navigation system and, at the end of the day, that’s what’s most important.
Helmed by Michael Bay, Transformers 3 is currently slated for a July 1st, 2011 release. The film returns actors Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, and Hugo Weaving (voicing the one and only Megatron) while introducing into the fold Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Oscar-nominee John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey, Oscar-winner Frances McDormand, Alan Tudyk, and Ken Jeong.
