Improv Everywhere: STAR WARS Subway Car  slice

If you’re not familiar with Improv Everywhere, it’s a group of New Yorkers who perform on the streets of New York.  Back in May, we posted their Ghostbusters sketch “Who You Gonna Call?”

Anyway, the comedy troupe released a new video yesterday called “Star Wars Subway Car” and it’s a reenactment of the first Princess Leia /Darth Vader scene from Star Wars on a New York City subway car.  While they do it with a straight face, the best part is watching all the regular folks start to understand what is going on.  And then Vader comes in…check it out after the jump:

    Am I the only one that thinks these are kind of lame? The Ghostbusters one was a good idea but fell short of being entertaining and this one was just plain stupid.

    I like that they did it without messing with the passengers. Too many of these things are done without the least concern of the lives they may be disrupting.
