It was bound to happen eventually. A new trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Inception just went up online and it basically gives away the whole movie. There even a line Leonardo DiCaprio says that hints at how the film may twist in the third act. But there’s a lot of new footage and afterward, I wish I hadn’t seen it. There are so many cool shots and while I have no problem finding out about the basic premise or even general descriptions of the characters, I think this trailer gives too much away. When you cut and release a trailer like that, how does that not feel like you wasted a year on total secrecy?
I will say that they premiered the trailer in an interesting fashion by having it show up inside the Inception online game, Mind Crime [discovered by the good folks at Nolan Fans]. You will have to track down a movie theater inside the game and then walk into it. If you don’t have a problem with that, then head over to the website. Otherwise, I’m sure Warner Bros. will be releasing the trailer outside of the game in the near future.

How can you say it “gives too much away”? Can you honestly say that you KNOW what's going to happen, besides Leo heading up a team of people to enter someone's dream for one last job? Give Nolan a wee bit more credit than that. Puhhleezz.
You honestly can't figure out what it means for the plot when DiCaprio says, “Dreams feel real when you're inside of them”?

No, I understand the hint there. I'm just saying that the third act reveal will catch us all off guard, cuz that's Nolan for ya. No offense intended.
None taken. I hope it twists us in a way we don't expect since “It was all a dream” is just about the worst twists out there.

I think the only thing it gives away are a bunch of cool shots. I can see how LEO's line sets up a possibility of what could happen. But it doesn't give away the story which is what you're implying. As far as a twist goes, even if there is a twist so what. I don't think it's that kind of movie. Some say THE PRESTIGE had a twist. But the movie didn't didn't play out in a way that it wanted to shock you at the end.
