Aliens can't keep Jeff Goldblum from joining social media, even if he's a bit behind the times. Goldblum, whose Independence Day character David Levinson is an M.I.T. graduate who helped save the world in 1996 thanks to his computer virus, recently joined Facebook and Instagram, and has been using the social media platforms to share a bit from his upcoming film, Independence Day: Resurgence. His first share? A friendly behind-the-scenes image of Goldblum with co-star Liam Hemsworth. His second? A brief teaser heralding the doom of humanity.
Independence Day: Resurgence is scheduled to hit theaters on June 24, 2016, and also stars Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe and Sela Ward.
