Paul Rudd gets caught in the middle of Megan Fox and Leslie Mann in this new clip from writer/director Judd Apatow’s This Is 40. Lucky guy. When Desi (Fox) starts working for Pete (Rudd), her youth stirs up some trouble in the almost-forty Debbie (Mann). The clip also features hilarious contributions from Robert Smigel (Conan) and Annie Mumolo (Bridesmaids). This is 40 opens December 21st.
Pulling a complete 180, we have two very serious clips from co-writer and director Thomas Vinterberg’s The Hunt. Centering on a school teacher, played by Mads Mikkelsen, who is accused of molesting a kindergartner, these two clips show the young accuser during her initial confession and later, her attempted retraction. There is no domestic release date for the picture as of yet, but you can check out Phil Brown’s review here. Hit the jump to watch the clips.

Three new clips have gone online for Dan Bradley’s directorial debut, Red Dawn. The veteran stunt actor and coordinator helms the remake of the 1984 film which centered on a group of American kids who defend their home against invading foreign soldiers. This time around, Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki and Josh Peck are up against those no-good Soviets Chinese North Koreans. The new clips show off a bit of flirtatious fun before the invasion, an alternate version of the invasion itself and an action scene that pays homage to the original film. Red Dawn opens November 21st. Hit the jump to check out the clips.

Although the last quarter of this year is positively stacked with fantastic films, Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln should be on your short list. The period piece is less a cut-and-dry biopic of America’s 16th President, played perfectly as always by Daniel Day-Lewis, and more of an examination of the burdens placed on Lincoln to keep a nation from falling apart while abolishing slavery and attempting to hold his personal life together. While the film is excellent overall (you can read my review here), a highlight of Lincoln is the excellent supporting cast. A previous selection of clips focused mainly on the President, but this new batch shows off snippets of the performances by Tommy Lee Jones, James Spader and David Strathairn to name a few. Hit the jump to check them out.
Lincoln, also starring Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lee Pace and Hal Holbrook, opens November 16th.

Five clips from director Joe Wright’s adaptation of the classic Leo Tolstoy novel Anna Karenina have been released. The film takes place in late 19th century Russian society and stars Keira Knightley as an adulterer who questions her happiness. In true Wright fashion, this isn’t exactly a straightforward adaptation; the director has set much of the film in a lush theater that uses over 100 interconnected sets to allow the action to move fluidly through a door and into a separate setting entirely. Early word has praised the gorgeous framing device, and it should be fun to take it all in when the pic hits theaters later this month.
Hit the jump to watch the clips. The film also stars Matthew Macfadyen, Kelly Macdonald, Domhnall Gleeson, Alicia Vikander, and Olivia Williams. Anna Karenina opens on November 16th.

It’s looking like director Rich Moore’s animated feature Wreck-It Ralph is going to rule the box office this weekend. If you’re still on the fence about this family-friendly film, we’ve got three new clips to share with you in hopes of convincing you to check it out. They highlight Fix-It Felix, Jr. (voiced by Jack McBrayer) meeting Sgt. Calhoun (Jane Lynch) for the first time, a deal struck between Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope Von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) and a special game character cameo with some helpful information.
Wreck-It Ralph, also featuring the voices of Alan Tudyk, Ed O’Neill, Adam Carolla and Mindy Kaling, is currently playing in theaters. Hit the jump to see the new clips.

Two new clips have gone online for director Michael Haneke’s 2012 Palme d’Or-winning drama, Amour. The touching story centers on a married couple in their eighties and the struggle they endure as each others’ mental and physical health begins to fail. I haven’t seen the film, but if these two incredibly poignant and emotional clips are any indication, then Amour certainly has more awards in its near future.
Amour, starring Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva and Isabelle Huppert, opens domestically in limited release on December 19th. Hit the jump to see the new clips.

We have three new clips to share with you today from writer/director/star RZA’s kung-fu epic, The Man with the Iron Fists. First up is Bronze Lion (Cung Le) taking on Madame Blossom (Lucy Liu), followed by a bloody introduction to Jack Knife (Russell Crowe) and finally, a clash between the wrought iron fists of the Blacksmith (RZA) and the zinc and copper alloy of Brass Body (David Bautista). The clips do a nice job at showcasing the fighting styles of each of our characters, but also give a glimpse into the overall tone of the film. Part kung-fu cliche and part homage, The Man with the Iron Fists looks to mix in a fair dose of humor alongside the action (if Crowe’s craziness is any indication). The Man with the Iron Fists opens November 2nd. Hit the jump to check out the clips.

Director Robert Zemeckis puts a decade of motion capture behind him and returns to live-action fare with Flight, starring Denzel Washington. The John Gatins screenplay centers on a pilot (Washington) who miraculously lands a malfunctioning plane, only to become the focus of a follow-up investigation. Today, we have an exclusive clip to share with you and it is a doozy. It shows off the inciting incident of Flight while highlighting Washington’s grace under pressure, though the same can’t be said for his co-pilot (is it his first day?).
Also starring John Goodman, Don Cheadle, Melissa Leo and James Badge Dale, Flight opens on November 2nd. Hit the jump to check out our exclusive clip, and click here for over 20 images from the film.

The first clip from visionary director Ang Lee’s Life of Pi is now available. The scene in question is an extension of the stunning trailer for the film, which was adapted from Yann Martel’s novel by David Magee. Life of Pi follows an Indian boy named Pi (Suraj Sharma), a zookeeper’s son who finds himself in the company of a hyena, zebra, orangutan, and a Bengal tiger after a shipwreck sets them adrift in the Pacific Ocean. Viewed in 2D, the clip can be a bit distracting as there are obvious places where the 3D will be played up; it entertains just the same.
Also starring Rafe Spall, Gerard Depardieu, Irrfan Khan and Adil Hussain, Life of Pi opens in 3D November 21st. Hit the jump to see the clip.

Two new clips to share with you today: one comes from director Rich Moore’s animated arcade game homage, Wreck-It Ralph; the other hails from Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman’s Paranormal Activity 4. The previously released clip from Wreck-It Ralph showed our titular hero (voiced by John C. Reilly) meeting Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman). This time around, Ralph meets up with “Hero’s Duty” drill sergeant, Calhoun (Jane Lynch). The Paranormal Activity 4 clip gives more frantic looks at creepy stuff like dead-eyed kids skulking about and a girl levitating off of her bed. So, there’s that.
Wreck-It Ralph, also featuring the voices of Jack McBrayer, Alan Tudyk, Mindy Kaling and Adam Carolla, opens November 2nd. Paranormal Activity 4, starring Katie Featherson and Kathryn Newton, opens October 19th. Hit the jump to see both clips.

In the newest clip released for Sam Mendes’ James Bond flick, Skyfall, Bond (Daniel Craig) is up to old habits: namely gambling and womanizing. This thirty-second spot shows Bond playing cavalier with his hard-earned winnings and introduces him to Severine (Berenice Marlohe). They must have hit it off since they later meet up for a refreshing Heineken on a passenger train. We also have the first look at Harald Zwart’s The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones in a behind-the-scenes featurette with cast interviews.
Skyfall, also starring Judi Dench, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ralph Fiennes and Naomie Harris, opens November 9th stateside. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones stars Lily Collins, Lena Headey, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Kevin Durand and opens August 23rd, 2013. Hit the jump to check out the clip and featurette.

Six clips from the animated film Hotel Transylvania have been released. Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack), the story centers on Dracula (voiced by Adam Sandler) trying to throw a party for his daughter Mavis’ (Selena Gomez) 118th birthday, but his plans go haywire when a human (Andy Samberg) comes to the monsters-only hotel and develops a crush on Mavis. The film looks to have some funny bits, and I’m sure kids will get a kick out of the monster comedy aspect.
Hit the jump to check out the clips. The voice cast also includes David Spade (Griffin the Invisible Man), Steve Buscemi (Wayne the Werewolf), Kevin James (Frankenstein), Molly Shannon (Wanda the Werewolf) and Cee Lo Green (Murray the Mummy). Hotel Transylvania opens on September 28th.

Hot on the heels of the news that Focus Features has acquired the extremely well received crime drama The Place Beyond the Pines, the first two clips from the film have landed online. Written and directed by Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine), the pic centers on the intense feud between a professional motorcycle rider turned bank robber (Ryan Gosling) and a rookie police officer (Bradley Cooper). Pines premiered at the Toronto Film Festival late last week to a rapturous response (read Matt’s glowing review here), and Focus quickly snapped it up for a planned 2013 release. These two clips feature a peroxided and tattooed Gosling planning a bank robbery and Cooper’s cop character being questioned in a hospital bed by Bruce Greenwood.
Hit the jump to check out the clips. The film also stars Eva Mendes, Ben Mendelsohn, Rose Byrne and Ray Liotta.
