First Images and Poster for INSIDIOUS Starring Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson [UPDATED]

A new poster and some images from the upcoming film Insidious have hit the web. From director James Wan (Saw), the film stars Rose Byrne (Damages) and Patrick Wilson (Watchmen) as parents of a boy who falls into a coma after an accident at their new house: “The tragedy doesn’t stop there when they are beset by vengeful spirits from another realm.” The first trailer hit the web a couple of weeks ago.   1. Eh, the creepy kid rage has worn itself out, not liking the poster.

    That last image is great, Rose Byrne looks like the mother I never had.

  2. Why does the kid on the poster look like Justin Bieber? Scanning through the article links I just see this poster briefly and go, “Whaaaaaat?” Now that’s truly scary.

  3. I watched Insidious the other night. I liked it. I’ve been watching scary movies for four decades and am seldom scared by them. This one has a great story. We don’t even get to see the kid who’s haunted act. He’s not creepy. He’s got the smallest part besides the baby sister. The movie has lots of great jump-out-of-your-seat scares as well as an insidious amount of time-release fear. Paranormal investigators are interesting and the emotional and psychological damage we see inflicted upon the family is very believable.
