The teaser trailer for Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps may have been a little jokey and overly slick, but the Sun has premiered the international trailer for the film and it gets down to the nuts and bolts of the plot. It doesn’t reveal anything more that we don’t already know from the plot synopsis. However, the trailer also features boxing, riding motorcycles, and helicopters so that’s weird, although I suppose they’re symbols of extravagance. I just love that the whole thing is set to The Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil.”
The sequel to the 1987 film stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan, Frank Langella, and Josh Brolin. Click here to check out the trailer and hit the jump to read the official synopsis. Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps hits theaters on April 23rd.
For those just tuning in, here’s the official synopsis for Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps:
Emerging from a lengthy prison stint, Gordon Gekko finds himself on the outside of a world he once dominated. Looking to repair his damaged relationship with his daughter, Gekko forms an alliance with her fiancé Jacob (Shia LaBeouf), and Jacob begins to see him as a father figure. But Jacob learns the hard way that Gekko – still a master manipulator and player – is after something very different from redemption.

I'll just be damned. I didn't really like the first one to my memory, which I saw about 2 or 3 years ago. Of course I was maybe 20 years old so maybe the interest wasn't there. Regardless, after watching that trailer, I will be seeing this film in theaters. It looks REALLY good
Shia's girl already annoys me
the first one was awesome, i hope this one can surpass the first one
