The first Interstellar clip has gone online. Director Christopher Nolan wrote the screenplay based on a previous draft by his brother, Jonathan Nolan (The Dark Knight), and the story finds a crew of astronauts led by Matthew McConaughey setting off into deep space in order to find a new planet that might be habitable. In this clip, McConaughey’s character sits down with an ignorant and cynical school administrator, and proceeds to quietly play his trump card in explaining why space travel is in important.
