Though his alter ego may prefer Black Sabbath, Tony Stark will once again be rocking to the sounds of AC/DC in Iron Man 2.
The veteran Aussie rockers, whose "Back in Black" was the leadoff song in the first Iron Man flick, will not only contribute music to the Marvel Studios sequel, but will also release the album AC/DC: Iron Man 2 on April 19. It will feature 15 AC/DC classics culled from 10 of the band's studio albums. On a personal note, I'm very happy to report my favorite AC/DC hit, "Have a Drink on Me", made the cut.
Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man and Mickey Rourke's Whiplash doing battle to the heavy metal sound of AC/DC? Sounds like a perfect match to me. Hit the jump for a full track listing, details on the CD release and the first video from AC/DC: Iron Man 2, "Shoot to Thrill."
