A couple new suits from Iron Man 3 have been unveiled by way of the film’s Facebook page.  We previously got a look at the Mark 33 Silver Centurion and Mark 40 Shotgun, as well as the Mark 17 Heartbreaker and Mark 38 Igor (aka “Hulkbuster”), and now we’ve been granted a peek at the Mark 39 Sub Orbital Suit and the Mark 35 Disaster Rescue Suit (aka “Red Snapper”).  The Mark 39 is particularly curious, as this armor (nicknamed “Gemini”) would seemingly put Tony Stark on the path to eventually travelling safely into deep space.  This gives some credence to a previous rumor about Iron Man 3’s closing scene.

Hit the jump to take a look at the two new armors.  Iron Man 3 opens in 3D on May 3rd.

With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
