IT Chapter Two is just a few months away, and while we know it includes quite possibly the bloodiest scene in horror history and that Bill Hader will probably be smiling through 90% of it, we still haven't got a glimpse of James McAvoy as grown-up Loser Leader Bill Denbrough (also known to the meaner residents of Derry, Maine as s-s-s-s-stuttering Bill). Until now, that is: To celebrate the actor's birthday, director Andy Muschietti released the first image showing off McAvoy's take on Bill.

While the photo itself isn't incredibly exciting—that's certainly James McAvoy!—the hype for IT Chapter 2 still continues to grow nonetheless. The sequel to the 2017 film, which still holds the highest opening for an R-rated horror flick ever, draws from the modern-day half of Stephen King's original novel. The Losers' Club returns to Derry 27 years after a battle with Bill Skarsgard's ageless evil Pennywise bonded them in bloody terror. The younger cast will return for flashbacks, but the new aged-up versions will be played by McAvoy, Hader, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andy Bean.

Check out the photo and Muschietti's post below. IT Chapter Two hits theaters on September 6.
