If you have never watched any of MTV’s award shows on Tivo, you are really missing out. While I find the shows a pretty big waste of time, I reluctantly admit that you can sometimes find a good five to ten minutes per award hour that is worth watching. With my method, I can usually watch the two hour award shows in fifteen to twenty minutes. However now that they have recruited Jack Black to host the August 31^st VMA’s, my strategy is all out the window. Since you really don’t know what he is going to do, I might have to watch more closely. According to Jack, “My plan is to bring the thunder. He is beginning to promote the Tenacious D film The Pick of Destiny, which arrives November 17^th from New Line Cinema. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the trailer yet, what are you waiting for?
