Skyfall was the first James Bond film to play in IMAX, and since that picture became the 9th highest grossing movie of all-time, it’s not much of a surprise that the sequel, Spectre, is also getting the IMAX treatment. I didn’t see Skyfall in IMAX, and while neither movie was filmed using IMAX cameras, it wouldn’t surprise me if both looked terrific. And as an added bonus: neither film is in 3D (or at least no post-conversion for Spectre has been announced so far).
Check out the press release below, and come back later today to see the Spectre teaser trailer. The film opens November 6th, and stars Daniel Craig as James Bond, Ben Wishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, David Bautista as Mr. Hinx and Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, and Stephanie Sigman as Estrella.
